How It Started

Amidst the chaos of war, I took to the internet to find a way to make a difference. That’s when I discovered Yulia Semchenkova, a renowned author, and Zhenya Myroniuk, a talented illustrator. Together, we created “The Magical Amber Seed”, a children’s book fundraiser for Ukraine. Our collaboration has resulted in a truly magical outcome, and we hope you’ll join us in our mission to help these children

The Magical Amber Seed relays the adventures of a brave little bunny called ‘Hope’, who is on a mission to bring back light to her planet Sunflower, where darkness is slowly taking over. You will be captivated by this story of resilience, perseverance, and hope in face of adversity, enchanted by the marvelous storytelling, and delighted by the beautiful drawings. This charming children’s book gives us all hope by telling the story of how one rabbit’s perseverance ends up changing the fate of her planet – and we are greatly inspired to do the same.

A Story Of Hope And Perseverance

With this fundraiser for Ukraine, we want to shed light on the darkness that is taking over the country, through this project we want to remind kids of the importance of the past in shaping the present and creating a better future.
The Magical Amber Seed seeks to inspire our children, especially our Ukrainian children, that they have the power to bring joy and hope in their hearts and spread them to the people around them.

We also want to teach them the value of hope, strength, resilience, and perseverance in the face of adversity. These values are important for them to learn how to work hard for positive change in our world.

The real gem lies in the inspiring allegory of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, captured through the eyes of a courageous unusual hero. I don’t know about you, but I never knew a bunny could be this brave!
